About the Evolvin Team
At Evolvin, we like to think of ourselves as problem solvers. We understand
that the introduction of new software can provide the answer to some problems
and make a business more efficient, but occasionally the total solution requires
a little more thought.
The Evolvin approach combines an in-depth understanding of business processes,
an innovative approach to linking existing software platforms together as well
as a talent for developing custom software solutions. We deliver a truly personal
service to our clients who come from a wide range of industry sectors and have a diverse range of IT
requirements.
Evolvin was formed in 2002, with the first office based in the heart of the West End on Regent Street, London, UK. The primary focus of the company during the early years was to provide IT consultancy and software development to large corporate clients.
Since those early years we have grown in our client base, revenue and staff numbers year-on-year, and have expanded across Europe and the Middle East, to become a leading supplier of software to the property sector, whilst working on high profile projects such as the disposal of four nuclear power station facilities via an on-line auction.
Our mission is to provide our clients with solutions that increase effiency and profitability through streamlining and automation of business processes.

Chris Haines - Managing Director
Having worked in IT consultancy positions for the past 12 years, Chris
has built up invaluable experience across a wide range of sectors,
ranging from large corporate and government projects, to more
specialised private sector work. Being a self confessed geek
puts Chris in the ideal position to perform the roles of
impassioned salesman, entrepreneurial leader and imaginative
solution designer.
Chris founded Evolvin in 2002 when, whilst working in the property sector
on a government related project, he spotted a niche
to provide corporate style software development practices
to all sizes of client. This driving ambition to use the latest
technology, coupled with professional practices, to bring
flexible and adaptable solutions to his clients is a key
defining feature of Chris, and of all the services and products offered by Evolvin.
Gareth James - Projects Director
With 12 years experience within the IT & Telecoms industry Gareth's
skills at delivering complex CRM’s in the UK and Ireland are well developed.
Whilst working with NTL, Gareth qualified as an APMP Project
Manager, later moving on to provide consultancy for the Telecoms
Industry for large corporations such as Virgin Media and 118118 on
varied projects including CRM and Cisco Hardware roll-outs.
Gareth joined Evolvin in 2007 as Projects Director and his role within the company
is to manage the life cycle of all projects and to ensure the adherence
to a structured methodology whilst delivering our products and services.
He monitors and controls the workload of our team of developers and technical
support staff, liaising with clients in the specification process, providing
client reporting on project progress and ultimately facilitating the successful
implementation of Evolvin’s projects.
Sasha Haines - Finance Director
Following her attainment of a Science degree, Sasha opted for the personnel
side of business. Several successive jobs in a leading marketing firm,
healthcare practice, and then a London based legal partnership all helped
build up fourteen years experience, across roles including Training &
Recruitment to Team Management.
Having been a co-founder of Evolvin, Sasha has grown with the company and
adapted her skills to cover a varied management role. With a primary role
as Finance Director, Sasha is responsible for strategic analysis and
growth planning, along with the not-so-fun job of cash flow management.
Due to her outgoing and friendly nature Sasha has also opted
for responsibility as a Client Manager and team motivator,
being responsible for a positive outlook all round.
Dr Roy Clark - Non-Executive Director
With over 20 years as a successful company Director, Roy has experience
in the full spectrum of companies from start-up/SME to multi-national in
numerous sectors, with a strong commercial background for developing and
restructuring companies, and more recently with an emphasis on generating
new business opportunities. With proven pro-active entrepreneurial skills,
he has an all round business acumen and a very strong hands-on approach.
His ability to transfer skills to differing business sectors as demonstrated
through his client base over the last five years providing part time Executive
Director services and general business mentoring.
Roy has worked with Evolvin since 2006 as a mentor, and more recently in a
Non-Executive Director role. Assisting Chris directly in the sales experience,
with his skilled networking and business contacts, he is a valuable member of the
team.
